a light dinner

Hello everyone,  here is one of my fave recipes that I love. What is there to not like about Bruchetta,(Italian pronunciation bru╦łsketta.) an easy to make antipasto (starter dish) recipe that has it's origins in Italy. Originally grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with oliveoil and salt. Today there are numerous variaitions consisting of toppings of tomato, vegetables, beans, cured meat, or cheese.

cheers to the sixth birthday of my blog and how to drink champagne like an expert

Hello my lovelies, it's my sixth year blogging and I am happy to be still here. I have blogged through happy times and tramatic times (as you know) and I am still inspired by beautiful things, people and events. I hope you continue to stop by The Girl at the Beach and I have to say a big thank you to my biggest fans, as I am not sure where I would be without you. So CHEERS to more loveliness, and more inspiration from the beach to you in the coming year.

sunday, sunday

To all my lovelies, have a fantastic Sunday.

destination: little arches boutique hotel, barbados.

Hello my Lovelies, there is nothing like a great getaway from the busyness of life to unwind, relax and take time for yourself. Here in Barbados where there are many hotels and villas to chose from, lie a quaint tucked away bouitique hotel called Little Arches.

Here you will find electic decor, fine dining and luxurious accomodation, with excellent service. Little Arches has won many Tripadvisor's awards including World Best Luxury Hotel and Caribbean-Best luxury Hotel 2009.

Little Arches also boast of Cafe Luna, a Zagat rated Restaurant for "Top hotel Dining" 2012 and. Top 3 "Decor", "Best Food", "Best Eclectic Food", "Best Mediterranean Food".

Visit their website for more information and I hope you will make Little Arches a destination choice very soon.

Take Care and stay tuned for more destination blog post my lovely readers. Cheers Lisa.
