Happy Sunday everyone. I hope everyone is having a relaxing day. Today I'm having some family over to share a meal and catch up on the many years we have not seen each other. My cousin and I have not seen each other in almost 27 years. So I'm serving up some of my fave comfort foods for dinner. I'll set up a buffet so everyone can help themselves, then I'll be able to spend much needed time with her. I don't know when or if I'll ever see her again, so I plan to make the most of this opportunity. Take care and stay tuned for more inspiration in the coming week.

Mixing stripes, abstracts with florals and picking a palette of green, red and blue with splashes of other shades, this was a wearable, pretty collection.

So I have already bought two pairs of leopard print shoes and I can't seem to get enough of this trend. What about you are you loving it as well???  Anyway my Hubs birthday is this weekend and I'm treating him super special with dinner at his fave restaurant and a few other surprises up my sleeve... (like maybe some leopard print lingerie, might do the trick....Te Heee!!!!) Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy.

When did you start blogging and why? I started blogging in form of writing letters to my son about six years ago. It moved on to sharing creative DIY craft idea's, tutorials and recipes with my family more recently (a little over a year ago). It's my escape, I love being amongst craft addicts, finding new idea's, I smile at a blogger's vision, photography style, recipes, and simply just knowing that there are so many creative and artsy bloggers to pull inspiration from.
