Creating a Cozy Bedroom.
SOMETIME AGO JERRY, MY HUBBY RIGGED UP A FRAME, SUSPENDED FROM THE ROOF, DIRECTLY ABOVE OUR BED, TO WHICH I HUNG SHEER CURTAINS AT THE FOUR CORNERS, CREATING AN ILLUSION OF A FOUR POSTER BED. ISN'T THAT THE COOLEST IDEA.

I LOVE THE LAMPS AND THE THROW CUSHIONS IN THIS PHOTO.

I'm so excited about redecorating my bedroom, just looking at these photos are filling me with ideas galore. Now I'm not looking to spend a fortune. I believe in any bedroom, my motto is to keep things simple, clean, comfortable and cozy.
Re-upholstering pieces I already own is a great way to re-use and re-cycle. A piece that has lived in another room could be given a new life just by simply changing location. Now is the time for me to experiment with things I already own.
Neatly arranging things I've collected (whether from the thrift shop or around the world) on walls and bedside tables. But hey if I just neatly arrange my bedroom, it would make a world of difference. WINK. Hanging a silk robe or lingerie behind the door, pile books by the bed in order of size, a handful of simple flowers in a vase. These small touches take time but make such a difference in personalizing a bedroom.
I love your bed! What a fantastic idea.
