Lust List...

...a dinner party for those you love, buckets and buckets and buckets of flowers, a pink antique car, a seat for two and a bed of English roses. Have a great weekend everyone. Much love to all.

  1. My mother saw me as her cub and she a mama lion no matter how old I got. It's a mother thing. I found what worked for me was to listen, asking if there was anything else she was concerned about {that was the hard part,}acknowledge her concern, repeating it so we both knew I had gotten it right, and then politely say what I believed to be the best course of action to take -- and since the lumps, if any, would be mine to ouch from, I proceeded to do it her way -- just kidding -- my way.

As for your 6 year old son, from your height in years and experience, you can see farther than he in terms of consequences and wisdom. Saying no now will save your bitter tears of regret later. Just my thoughts given lovingly and with deep respect.

Thank you for your kind words on my blog. They were appreciated. Your friend, Roland

  2. Thanks for your comment at my blog Lisa.
I'm also a big fan of Rachel Ashwell's books and style.
I notice you have a Marcia Willett book on your sidebar...I love her novels.
I think I have read them all, or had them on audio book. Do you also like Rosamunde Pilcher her books are similar.
    wishes, Kat

Your Time (Happy Friday).

Hello my Lovelies. I trust you all a great week and looking forward to the weekend. I know I am, as I have lovely dinner plans with a trip to the beach as well as , to catch some much needed sunshine. Don't get me wrong there is great weather all around me here in the tropics, but when you are working in a cold air conditioning office, you don't see much of the sun or warm weather.

I adore simple weekend dresses like the one I've posted, that's breezy and light or shorts with filp flops and a huge beach bag where I just throw my stuff in. The weekend is also not complete without a broad rim hat, the broader the better.

Well Cheers to the wekend and be safe my Lovelies, till we meet again.

Love Lisa
