Fisherpond Great House, Barbados

What wonderful old world charm this 350 year old plantation residence has. I love what former hotelier
John Chandler and his wife Rain has done in restoring this beautiful home. Simply Divine.

Built in 1635 this historic sugar plantation house sits in the lush valley of Sweet Bottom. It is an oasis of tropical gardens surrounded by 500 hundred acres of sugar cane. The perfect place to hold a wedding in Barbados. The home has been lovingly restored and furnished with a vast collection
of antiques and crystal chandeliers.

It is a simply unique dining experience.  Zagat 2009 survey rated Fisher Pond Great House as the best in Barbadian cuisine.
Hubby and I plan to visit  beautiful Fisherpond sometime soon. Love Lisa.
