A Weekend of Books.

(images)

This post has been inspired by the arrival of some new books I ordered some time ago.
This weekend I'm hoping to curl up and lose myself in each one.
Don't you love the smell and look of new books, that no one else has touched... I swoon, well that might sound a bit melodramatic, but pretty near to the truth. LOL
I hope someone out there can relate. Tell me I'm not weird.

Have a great weekend everyone whatever you do.
Lisa

  1. Sounds just like me, nothing better than getting a lovely new book! Think I might do the same since it's a cold and rainy day here!

Nice post, book shelves and mag stacks make me happy, and the hubs too, everywhere you look around our small apartment are books! :D

  3. Hi Lisa,
What a lovely post. I dream about a huge library with a fireplace and an enormous chair to snuggle in.
These images are lovely. I also love reading my bible early in the morning with sunlight shining through the blinds.

  6. You're SO not weird. I loooooooove books. Getting a new one, settling in on the sofa or in bed with it and something to drink (usually juice lol). One of my dreams is to one day have a room in my home home devoted to reading...filled with books a comfy day bed or chaise and a small side table for tea (or my juice lol)...a nice persian or moroccan berber rug and that's it. Clearly I've given this some thought?

Thank you so much for your comment on my most recent post. I'm speechless and hugely flattered. Thank you.
