Designer in Residence: Carolyn Quartermaine at home in Nice.

Carolyn Quartermaine - Cote Sud - Photo Marten Morrell

A British artist and designer whose style cannot be fully explained. Her home is pretty with a mix of whites,  acid brights and patterns. I stopped in my tracks when I first glimpsed her home in the pages of Vogue Living Australia. Bedroom: A hand painted turquoise silk velvet throw with vintage french bed linens. Lime green cushions add contrast. The daisy shaped bedside tables are just divine.

    I love the turquoise coverlet, but too much white everywhere else is a bit blinding! but then I am stuck in winter wonderland, not the warm area you are in ( I am envious!) hugs, Faythe ~GMT~
