A Time of Reflection.
Its almost the weekend and I'm looking forward to relaxing and enjoying my mornings.
I might go for a walk on the beach and read my Bible over a Chai Spice Latte.
Reading my bible outdoors is always a favorite of mine.
This week has been a busy one, so some much needed time of journalling and gathering
my thoughts is a necessity this weekend.
What do you do to regroup and refocus yourself on your goals and dreams?
What plans did you make at the beginning of the year that you might have lost sight of?
I love it when my hubby and I spend time talking and planning. I find it very centering when we share similar dreams. Last week we found this little place to have drinks and appetizers and we talked and laughed the night away, I'm looking forward to doing that again soon.
I forgot how much I enjoyed his company.
Somtimes life just gets so busy you can lose sight of what's really important.
I guess by now you must have picked up on my mirror theme happening here in this post.
I hope you like my choices. I am really grateful to have all of you stop by from time to time even if you don't comment, like my hubby and my beloved hairdresser Allison.
Take care my lovely friends and be safe.

Love this post. Both the meaning and the photos. Beautiful images! My hubby and I are kind of at a crossroads making decisions with career paths, etc. We've been spending a lot of time in conversation. Not always fond of having to make big decisions but sure do love spending time with my man!
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend goes as planned!
@Tammy, thank you so much. I hope the weekend goes as planned as well.

You always find the most amazing decor. I love spiced chai could go for one right now. I plan to take Saturday off as I've been going like crazy. Maybe my fiance and I will go for a bike ride. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteSuch wise and meaningful words! I know exactly what you mean, we desperately need that time to refocus on what matters or we lose sight of it. I think that your idea of reading your Bible over a Chai tea sounds lovely! And as for a walk on the beach...I am dreaming of sunshine, the snow is still heavy on the ground where I am in Norway.:) But it will come soon enough!
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful, joyful, relaxing weekend!
P.S. I love the picture with the green wall and pink sofa...so lush and bohemian somehow.:)
i love all of these ideas for using mirrors, but my favorite is the one with the multiple mirrors above the white bricks. I've been eyeing lots of mirrors in the market, so I appreciate the ideas that you've selected.
ReplyDeleteLove this post...so sweet. Love every single photo too.
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend is good.
Hugs,
Kat
I love your posts and pictures. They are so inspirational! I am always looking for inspiration for my bookmarks and prayer writing--your photos lend this inspiration to me. Blessings!
ReplyDelete@ Cynthia, Thank you so much for your kind words.
ReplyDeleteI too, love mirrors! My favorite would be the writing on that one. It's different. Thanks for inspiring and have a great day!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous mirrors, but I'm obsessed with the black and white room...fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteYour posts are just stunning! I agree with others who have commented on your blog "inspirational"... And you lucky girl, to read the Bible by the ocean... ahhhhh sounds like a true vacation to me. The best I can do in the midwest is go out on my deck or go to the most beautiful state park in this region (maybe the only one :) and enjoy the outdoors. No complaining ~ we get to experience all four seasons! Enjoy that amazing ocean! Sounds heavenly...
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
