Monday's Inspiration: You are MY God.

Some of you might remember at the beginning of the year, I made the decision to start a gratitude journal.
Well one of the things I realized of recent, as my mind drifted back to my journal, was that it's incredibly challenging for me to be grateful when I'm facing trials or any sort of hardship in my life. It has been weeks...OK a month and a half since I've picked up my journal, actually I'm not entirely sure were it is at the moment. Why is that????? when there is so much to be thankful for even when times get bad.
Our Father in Heaven reminds us that... our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. I am encouraged and I hope you are too, that whatever you are facing at this very moment you are not alone and there is a higher purpose to all we face as daughters/sons of God.

Read Psalm 107

Give thanks to the Lord ! (try making a list of as many things as you are sincerely grateful to God for in 10 minutes, and then pray your thanksgiving aloud, before God).
Love to All.

  1. These photos are just awesome. What beautiful skies.
I think a gratitude journal is a great idea. It's a wonderful way of appreciating all the little things that make life so special.

  2. You seriously can not look at those photos and not believe in God... amazing! New to your blog... love!

  3. Dear Lisa, I think you have hit on one of the truly hardest things about thankfulness and faith and LIFE!:) Being thankful even when things are tough. What a challenge. I am always struggling with this one too so you are not alone in this...

I hope that you find that journal and that your life just overflows with blessings and things to be thankful for! Have a lovely day!

Your Time (Happy Friday).

Hello my Lovelies. I trust you all a great week and looking forward to the weekend. I know I am, as I have lovely dinner plans with a trip to the beach as well as , to catch some much needed sunshine. Don't get me wrong there is great weather all around me here in the tropics, but when you are working in a cold air conditioning office, you don't see much of the sun or warm weather.

I adore simple weekend dresses like the one I've posted, that's breezy and light or shorts with filp flops and a huge beach bag where I just throw my stuff in. The weekend is also not complete without a broad rim hat, the broader the better.

Well Cheers to the wekend and be safe my Lovelies, till we meet again.

Love Lisa
