Summery Hats.
This post inspires me to wear a big summery straw/canvas hat,
and what better day of the week to do so than on a Sunday.
Whether it's to church, to brunch, a lawn party or a walk on the beach,
I think a hat will do the job just fine.

ReplyDeleteI almost forgot: I created a wide brim summer hat for my mother-in-law. She loves it! I placed bright/wide red, yellow, orange and turquoise ribbons around the crown and finalized the look with a couple of huge summery flowers. In order to protect her hair from the straw, I created a soft silk headband to place inside the hat. Now, I have custom orders from her friends! I thought about placing a few of the hats in my etsy and ebay shops, but couldn't stand the thought of focusing on something other than paper. My love affair with paper is just too intense to focus on fabric, right now. But, I know who to turn to, if we break-up!;-) LOL!! Bye!
Hat's like this are just fabulous aren't they? I just wish I had a suitable occasion to wear one.
