Golden Globes 2012 Color Trends.

Amber Riley, Dianna Agron and Reese Witherspoon all wore red dresses. Reese’s was by Zac Posen, Dianna’s by Giles and Amber’s Badgley Mischka.

Hello everyone, I'm just curious to find out if any of you have peeked at some of the red carpet fashions from the Golden Globes, held Sunday evening. Well the ladies were definitely not holding back when it came to color.

One of my favorite colored dresses of the night was Viola Davis’s plum gown by Emilio Pucci.  I'm loving that  dramatic leg slit. So refined and right for an event such as this. I'll say plum is a color I'm willing to experiment
with this year.

Canary yellow is lovely but not for the faint of heart.
Proudly worn by Maria Menounous, Paula Patton.

I also loved Octavia Spencer’s soft lilac Tadashi Shoji dress
she was nothing short of fabulous how she carried that dress, so regal indeed.

Berenice Bejo (Elie Saab), Helen Mirren (Badgley Mischka), Michelle Williams (Jason Wu), Sofia Vergara (Vera Wang)

Last and by no means least blue in all it's glorious shades. From velvet to feathers, these ladies struck us with fabulous textures...and not to be left out by way of special mention these two black and white dresses were just fierce.

Kate Winslet was beautiful in black and white Jenny Packham dressClaire Danes took a fashion risk with her open back black and white J Mendel dress.

What color trend is your fave?? Let the discussion begin.

  1. I loved those plum colors, but I think all the ladies in blue were stunning. I really loved Michelle Williams dress, even though she got dissed a lot for it. And Sophia Vergara looked AMAZING, as usual. I also thought Octavia Spencer and Reese looked gorgeous. :)

  2. A lot of the dresses this year were amazing. I absolutely love the purple hues 'cause I feel like it compliments every skin color - Okay! And it's my favorite color too. :)

  4. Viola Davis is my hero! She is so so amazing that woman.

Your Time (Happy Friday).

Hello my Lovelies. I trust you all a great week and looking forward to the weekend. I know I am, as I have lovely dinner plans with a trip to the beach as well as , to catch some much needed sunshine. Don't get me wrong there is great weather all around me here in the tropics, but when you are working in a cold air conditioning office, you don't see much of the sun or warm weather.

I adore simple weekend dresses like the one I've posted, that's breezy and light or shorts with filp flops and a huge beach bag where I just throw my stuff in. The weekend is also not complete without a broad rim hat, the broader the better.

Well Cheers to the wekend and be safe my Lovelies, till we meet again.
