Trend Inspiration: The Mullet Hem. (What the heck is a mullet anyway?)
- Well, ladies. If you’ve got a flare for the dramatic or simply can’t decide between a maxi and a mini, this spring and summer you’re in for a treat. Tapered, asymmetrical, swoop, fish tail hem dresses. Call them what you like but these dresses say "PARTY IN THE FRONT AND BUSINESS IN THE BACK". these dresses will be all the rage this year. They’re fun and sexy, concealing almost as much as they reveal. And trust me over-forty girls, there is no better way of updating your wardrobe and showing those legs off.
xx
Very pretty. Better than the mullet haircut where this took the name from. Long hair in the front, short in the front and sides..looked terrible, but people loved it in the 80's, early 90's. Better with the dresses. Hope you have a fab Monday xx
ReplyDeleteI love the term u used - I call them "tails" and my top today is actually a mullet top by Wilt :-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck in your search. I like it, not sure I could pull it off though! xo

I love the look. Some are better than others....but....overall, it's a winner in my book!
ReplyDeleteMullet hem - I love this! Michelle Williams rocks this look the best - she always looks so lovely xx
ReplyDeleteMullet is such a funny way to describe this trend...love it on a skirt or fun flirty dress...not a fan of this hem on shirts though...great round up!
ReplyDeleteOoh I like this kind of mullet for sure...so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love this trend so much. Uber chic! That pink dress is to die for. It has the perfect composition of laid-back chic +head-turning effect. I would very much want that for V day.
ReplyDeleteA mullet is a fish, so the mullet hem is what used to be called a fish tail hem. New words same design. I made a dress 20 years ago for my sister with a mullet hem and three years ago I trotted out with my mullet hem skirt, look great with boots. Yes I love the look, great pic L
